Nevertheless, it is always good to share our community rules, so that we can ensure that the platform remains a pleasant and safe place for everyone.   Community rules The community platform is an open platform: this means that anyone who provides a valid organization name can register, read messages and find information. It is also possible to find messages through the search engines. So please never share personal information such as your address, telephone number, etc. The Infoland Community team reserves the right to delete personal information if we believe that it may violate your privacy. One account may be created per person. You are responsible for the personal information you provide and the username you choose. It is not allowed to choose a username that only consists of numbers.   1.Create an account or log in.   2. Then click on the “Create topic" button on the right side of the page.    3. How do you quickly find the information you are looking for without having to search the entire platform? The community works intuitively, but there are always some useful tips that will help you find the information you are looking for even quicker.   Tip 1: Use the general search bar to search for specific topics "I want to find information on a specific topic quickly" "I want to quickly see if an idea on a specific topic has already been shared"   The search bar allows you to find the information you are looking for. By entering keywords, you immediately search the entire community platform. When you enter keywords and then press 'enter', you can add additional filters to your search. For example, you can search within a specific sub forum or search by using tags.   Tip 2: Use (popular) tags for an overview of various topics   "I would like to see all topics of a particular module" The popular tags are displayed on the right side of the platform. Do you want to change your username? Please send an email to community@infoland.nl with your old username, followed by the new username you would like to use. Then we, the community team, will adjust it for you.

Every week we show the most active and valued community members on the community homepage. Don't want to be shown here? Then follow the next steps. Click on your profile at the top right of the page. Go to Settings.  Then go to the tab '' settings '':     And choose the option: “No”.   And lastly save your changes.

If you want to log in on the community, you need to fill in your username and password.   Pay attention! Your username is not necessarily the same as your email address. If you enter your email address instead of your username, the community will not recognize the combination of your username and password, which prevents you from logging in. Thank you for your interest in the Infoland Community! In this topic I would like to show you how you can easily do this.   Step 1: Click on 'create an account':     Step 2: Fill in the required information. Note: remember your username; you will need this later to log in.     You will receive an email with a link, which you can use to activate your account.

Upload images You can upload images from your pc to your post by clicking on the small camera icon in the text editor.  All common file formats for images are supported (.png, .jpg, .gif).    Add image tp your post  After a successful upload, you can either leave the image in the attachment, or you can choose to embed it into your post. To do so, simply enter it at the part of the post where you would like to have the image embedded.   Embed videos Adding videos to your post can be done by clicking on the film roll button:   Add video to your post  You can add links to videos from Youtube, Vimeo and Dailymotion.   Note: Please paste the original video url, not e.g. the url for embedding videos. After the video has been added, you can choose to keep the video as an attachment, or to embed it into your post. For embedding, please go with the cursor to the place of your text where you would like to present the video, and click on "place in text".   

Should you come across a topic or a comment which you find inappropriate, then please click on the three dots at the bottom right of a post, and then click on "Flag":Cases in which topics or comments should be reported: Spam Advertisement Soliciting Harassment Private information (Email address, phone number, etc.) Any other content which is in conflict with our Terms and Conditions. If you are uncertain whether or not you should report a topic or comment, then please report it anyway. A moderator will check your report as soon as possible and will decide if measures will be taken.  

Based on your activity on the community, you can earn several badges. Have you earned a badge? Then this will be visible on the right side of the community homepage. You can also find your earned badges on your profile. Don't want to display your badges on the homepage? Go to your settings and hide your badges.   ​​​​​​Community badges You can earn badges for a variety of reasons. For example, because you often post topics or respond to topics of other members. Good luck earning badges!   

You can earn community badges in all sorts of ways. These are shown by default on the right side of the homepage. You will also find them in your own profile. Don't you want these badges to be shown? Then follow the next steps: Click on your profile (the top right of the page) Go to “Settings'' Then go to the tab ''Settings'' And choose the option: “No”.   And lastly save your changes.

When creating a topic, you can add several tags (keywords) at the bottom of your topic. Simply type in your tags followed by a comma (example: General search bar,).   Add tags when you create a new topic      Frequently used keywords (popular tags) are collected on the community homepage. The advanced search function enables you to search:  within a specific knowledgebase or community category.  for topics with certain tags or a combination of tags. How does it work? Go to the central searchbar;  Enter your keyword and press enter; You now enter the advanced search function; On the left you will find different filter options. You can filter by topic type, community or knowledgebase categories and tags.     Good to know… With the arrow behind each community category, you can choose the underlying sub-forums. Via the settings you can easily arrange a number of things yourself. This way you decide which notifications you want to receive and which of your information can be displayed. Click on your profile picture at the top right Then click on ''settings''   Click on the '’Settings” tab. Here you can change your  settings:  Settings Display my badges You can earn badges on the community. You can indicate whether or not you want to show these badges to others on the community.Display my username on the leaderbord At the right side of the homepage you can find the leaderbord, which shows the community members who have been most active and appreciated in the past week. You can indicate whether or not you want your name to be displayed here.   Display my user title  From Explorer to Adventurer. If you want to send someone a personal message, you can do so via a private message. This message is only visible to the person you send it to.Administrators of this community cannot view the content of private messages. They can only gain insight into the number of sent private messages, the time they were sent and to whom they were sent. Sending someone a private message for the first time?   This can be done in two ways: 1.You can send a private message by hovering over the profile in a topic and clicking on the envelope: 2.You can also click on a profile and then click on the "Send message" button:   Have you sent someone a private message before? You can also send them a new message from here:   How to change the private message settings?  Go to settings and decide who can send you a message and whether you want to receive notifications. 

Always stay informed by suscribing to categories and topics   Suscribe to a category If you suscribe to a category , you will automatically receive a notification when new topics are posted in the relevant category. This is useful if you want to be kept informed of new topics in a particular categorie.   Click on a ''main category'' on the homepage. Then choose the sub category  you want to follow at the top. Finally click on the ''Subscribe'' button.   (1). (2). (3).   Do you no longer want to receive notifications? Then you can unsuscribe to the category in the same way.   Suscribe to a topic You can suscribe to a specific topic by clicking the “Subscribe” button below at the bottom of the topic. You will then automatically receive an email when there are new reactions and topics. You can also “unsusbribe to” the topic the same way.

Through the settings within your profile, you can easily determine which notifications you want to receive.   Click on your profile picture at the top right Then click on ''settings”   Click on the '’Settings tab'’. Here you can change your (notification) settings:    Receive email notifications from my topic suscriptions You have the option to suscribe to specific topics. This way you can easily stay informed about the topics that are relevant to you. Here are some tips to search for information:   Search via the general search bar The central search bar is displayed at the top of the homepage. Here you can enter keywords, so that you can find your information quickly and easily.
