I am editing a Word document via Zenya. I want to add a hyperlink to a document on the network drive.

I used the Zenya plugin in Word to create the hyperlink (Select target type = network location), but it does not work; when clicking the hyperlink, a web page is opened and an error appears ‘This site can't be reached’. I can open the link outside Zenya. Hyperlinks to other Zenya documents and to web pages work fine.

Hi,

The latest generation of browsers no longer supports links of the network location type based on a UNC path. Apparently, browser developers no longer consider this to be secure.

Therefore, the recommendation is to make the files in the network location accessible in an alternative way, for example by adding them to Zenya or placing them in a cloud environment.
Another option is to write out the full path in plain text and have the user copy and paste it into Windows Explorer.
