Because you have added text in a document via 'cut' and 'paste', you may have accidentally copied hyperlinks.

These hyperlinks can also be on a space so that they are not visible to readers in the document. When you create a report with hyperlinks or view the hyperlinks for a document, you will see the hyperlink there.

If you still want to remove the hyperlink, you can do this as follows:

  • If it concerns Word / Excel documents: Select all text (CTRL + A) and then press: CTRL + SHIFT + F9. All hyperlinks are now removed. You will then need to add all hyperlinks that do belong in the document again.
  • When it comes to HTML document: if you edit the document you can go to 'Control' at the top and then it says 'Remove hyperlinks'. After that, the hyperlinks that do belong in the document must be re-created.

@Gerlof thanks for these tips!
