There are 2 types of news items:
1. News reports about new versions of documents.
This category is managed by document managers, see On which portals does a news item about a document appear?
2, News items that you post directly to a portal and are not created by document managers .
For that option you need to hand out permissions to employees in the following way:
- Go to Application Management> Portals> Portals
- Click on a Portal
- Then click on "Permissions"
- Give the right people the role "Manage news"
